E-Commerce Manager

Position Summary

The E-Commerce Manager will be responsible to manage and maintain all online revenue streams and related systems, including Opera, Fidelio, PrimalRes, WebHotelier, Swapsystems, SLH and all extranets of the OTAs (Destimo, Booking, Expedia, Hotelbeds etc.) for Eagles Palace, Eagles Villas, The Excelsior, City Hotel, On Residence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement appropriate hotel inventory distribution strategy, maintain accurate rates and inventory allotments in all electronic channels in a timely manner and promote rate parity throughout all booking channels
• Load all preferred, consortia and promotional rates in GDS and PMS
• Maintain distribution channel data integrity; spearheads troubleshooting and resolution of any rate loading issues as they occur
• Analyze overall monthly hotel performance and provide summary report with recommendations to improve long-term strategies
• Monitor overbooking levels and opportunities daily; continually monitor booking pace and respond to unexpected variances
• Design and implement annual e-commerce plan
• Conduct competitive and demand analysis; analyze independently and determine whether hotel is effectively marketing itself across electronic distribution channels
• Manage all aspects of rate and inventory management as outlined in the contracts
• Manage all online activity in relation to traffic acquisition, sales, conversion and a/b testing and reporting
• Be responsible for the web pricing and competition analysis
• Conduct market research aiming to discover new trends and technologies in order to improve website performance
• Analyze various data in order to deliver data driven strategies and deliver top performance as well as achieve KPI’s
• Apply all best practices that result in customer acquisition, retention and growth
• Implement changes on the back office systems regarding special offers and allotment reports towards constantly improving booking journey and increasing conversion
• Cooperate efficiently with the reservations department to ensure that online pricing and availability matches perfectly real time pricing and availability

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position
• Degree in Business Administration, Hotel Management preferable with significant coursework in statistics, economics or computer science
• Excellent knowledge of Greek and English language
• Computer literacy (Excel, Power Point, Fidelio, MS Office,) and excellent knowledge of relevant to sales platforms
• Experience in communications and brand building
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Strong time management skills, ability to prioritize work and work as a team player

Αρμοδιότητες:

• Σερβίρισμα φαγητών και ποτών, προετοιμασία του εστιατορίου σύμφωνα με τα πρότυπα του ξενοδοχείου

Position Summary

The Human Resources Generalist assists the HR department from candidate screening to interviewing and evaluating candidates to onboarding and providing assistance for training and development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative and analytical support to the HR Manager in the development of a consistent HR strategy for all properties
• Support employees in leaves, compensation and in various HR-related issues
• Design and update job descriptions and HR manuals
• Prepare reports, organize employee performance appraisals and conduct employee satisfaction surveys
• Interact with all operational departments, determine future recruitment and training needs
• Ensure compliance with labor regulations and company’s policies and procedures
• Create job advertisements, advertise job openings on company’s careers page, social media and internally

Position Summary

The Sales Manager will be responsible for managing sales activities, understanding and responding to client’s and partners’ needs, analyzing relevant information, and developing tailored proposals that meet clients’ expectations. Reporting to the Sales Director, this role requires strong strategic planning, market analysis, and the ability to drive sales growth in both new and existing markets. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research to identify selling opportunities, gather market and customer information to determine client and partner needs
• Develop strategies in collaboration with senior management to expand FIT and group sales into new markets, and to increase business in existing markets
• Formulate strategic plans to grow business thorough Wholesalers, Travel Advisors and OTAs
• Work closely with the sales and marketing management to develop strategies that maximize RevPAR and increase market share
• Collaborate with the marketing department to create effective sales and marketing support materials
• Conduct regular reviews of partners’ websites and content related to the hotels
• Represent the Resort at major travel trade shows worldwide, conduct sales representation in the market, perform day-to-day sales calls, promote the property and secure new business opportunities
• Stay fully informed about new products, competitor activities, and market trends; strengthen networking and relationships with key industry players
• Prepare and format information for internal and external communications - memos, emails, presentations, reports
• Conduct site inspections of the property with new or existing partners, showcasing rooms, banquet facilities, and other hotel facilities for business meetings or special events
• Assist in building and promoting strong, long lasting customer relationships to ensure a high level of satisfaction and loyalty

Requirements:

• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position in the luxury hospitality industry or in any other relevant sales department
• BS/MS Degree in business administration or a related field; Excellent knowledge of Greek and English language

• Availability to travel

• Must be highly organized, efficient and detail-oriented, focused on accomplishing high quality results

Reservations Executive 

Location: Thessaloniki & Halkidiki occasionally

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all reservation request is attended and handled as per the company’s standards and procedures; maintain confidentiality of guests’ information 
• Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the reservation experience 
• Apply upselling technics at all time
• Maintain good relations with agents, companies and regular guests
• Review reservation booked daily
• Ensure special handling of repeats guest and very VIP guest
• Ensure that Guest History is updated and acted upon accordingly
• Handle all guest complaints and comments relating to the department tactfully
• Resolve unexpected overbooking situations
• Liaise with Sales Department regarding occupancy, Rates Reservation’s Analysis 
• Coordinate and communicate with all departments (Operations, Finance, Guest Services and Housekeeping) to ensure a smooth operation
• Train the reservations/front desk agents
• Allocate daily tasks to Reservations staff
• Implement and control the Focus and other financial and audit procedures
• Maintain at all times a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene

Qualifications / Personal characteristics:

• Minimum 2 years of Reservations Management experience in a similar position in a 5* Luxury Hotel or Hospitality Management Company 
• Excellent knowledge of English language; a second language such as German will be considered as an asset
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Computer literacy and experience of hotel distribution systems (Fidelio, Opera, CM, Booking Engines, Extranets) will be appreciated
