The exquisite culinary era for Eagles Palace in Halkidiki first began about a decade ago with the arrival of Lefteris Lazarou who set up the menu at all restaurants of the resort.

Today, another legend arrives to introduce a new gastronomic era and convey his experience, expertise and inspiration to all restaurants at Eagles Palace; Apostolos Trastelis, the renowned owner of a series of some of the most successful Greek restaurants including Spondi restaurant that has been awarded with two Michelin awards and Hytra with one Michelin award.

Despite the difficulties that arise due to the location of the resort in Ouranoupolis, Halkidiki, such as the time and effort to even bring in all the ingredients needed for an upgraded level of cuisine, the menus have been uplifted by Apostolos Trastelis who decided to make use of the freshest locally produced ingredients and combine them to create an amazing result.


Besides the ingredients and the exceptional seaside location, another thing that had to work in order to create an amazing gustatory experience was chemistry. Chemistry between Apostolos Trastelis and the hotel owners, Dinos and Lena Tornivouka. The chemistry was evident right from the start and so the result was expected to be significant. And so it is.

The aesthetic upgrade from the legendary Kamares restaurant to the brand new restaurant Eleonas is absolutely spectacular creating a new setting for utmost enjoyment.

Kamares has been transformed to Kamares by Spondi with a menu inspired from the best products of the Greek land and a French twist with a menu designed by the awarded chef with two Michelin stars Arnaud Bignon.
