In the course of its 30 years of existence, the chateau Nico Lazaridi celebrates its presence in the wine industry with an exhibition of the paintings that were used as labels for its distinctive wines.
Nikos Lazaridis, founder of the company was eager to produce a modern line of fine quality wines that would represent Greece and at the same time promote the dynamics of contemporary art that has been flourishing in the country for the past 30 years. Therefore, he assigned several artists such as Giannis Nanou, Faidon Patrikalakis, Christos Markidis, Pavlos-Aggelos Kougioumtzis, Giannis Nikou and Giorgos Taxidis to paint the most unique wine labels that would travel across the country and all around the world on each and every bottle produced by the chateau.
The exhibition ART & WINE ON THE MOVE will take place between August 2nd and August 31st at Eagles Palace 5 star hotel & spa, in Ouranoupolis Halkidiki.
In the framework of the exhibition, two major Wine and Dine gastronomic events will be organized at Vinum restaurant that you don’t want to miss.
The events will take place on Monday the 5th and on Wednesday the 28th of August at 20:30 and will include a 4-course menu accompanied by NICO LAZARIDIS’ fine quality wines.
The menu will comprise of shrimp on Josper with aromatic yogurt cream, season salad with walnuts and chutney figs, spicy black angus tagliata with potato terrina and will conclude on a sweet note with a delicious pavlova with fluffy patisserie cream. All courses will be accompanied by selected wines from the Nico Lazaridi collection.
Guests will be able to marvel up close all paintings/wine labels for the first time outside the winery, paintings that have been inspired by nature itself and by the people that have been involved in the production process of the wines.
